                            Parkside Books Mission Statement

Parkside Books is committed to providing a comfortable, pleasant, and affordable shopping experience for our customers by insuring that our stock is accessible, our store interior is clean and inviting,   and our services are provided efficiently with a friendly attitude.

Recently my brother sent out an inspiring essay about “birds” that caught my eye.  The essence of the essay is that any person, any business, can achieve a high level of service to their constituents and customers if they make a committed effort.  It reminded me that we had put together a plan for Parkside Books in 2008.  The plan included a mission statement and specific things to accomplish.

I pulled the plan out this morning and was pleasantly surprised to find that the majority of the things we had identified to be done during the past year were completed.  Now we would like to find out if our customers are pleased with our progress and if you think we are living up to our Mission Statement.   We’d love to hear from you about your shopping experience here and if there is anything specific you think we can do to make Parkside Books one of your favorite places to shop.

 Great New Titles in Paperback

Our offering of new paperback books has been well received.   This month we have a great selection of titles from some of our most popular authors.

We also have some fine new books by local authors.  If you are looking for something new and different, check out these fine titles.  Romance, mystery, suspense, science fiction, biography, essays, and poetry, are all available from local authors.  We have visited with many of these people and are constantly amazed at the talents of the people around us.   They entertain!
